Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Previous experience in a K-8 educational environment preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Positive, compassionate attitude toward students and families
• Commitment to professional and ethical standards

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying needs
• Develop and implement IEPs by collaborating with general educators and support staff
• Assess, monitor, and document student progress
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learners
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that promotes growth and confidence
• Communicate effectively with families and educational team members
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and ongoing professional development
