Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients, fostering an environment conducive to open communication and healing.

• Diagnose and treat a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and circumstances, integrating evidence-based practices.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families to provide ongoing support, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Implement ongoing assessments and evaluations of clients’ progress, using standardized assessment tools to quantify improvement.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as required, referring clients to specialists such as psychologists, psychiatrists, or addiction counselors if needed.

• Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to enhance collective service delivery and patient care.

Qualifications\n

• Current valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Prior experience or specialized training in addiction counseling, specifically in dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, with an emphasis on building rapport and motivating clients towards healthier lifestyles.

Compensation and Benefits\n
