Apex Systems, the nation’s 2nd largest Information Technology staffing firm, has an opportunity for a Mobile Developer to work for one of our clients in Birmingham, AL.

Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years of Development and have technical experience with.Net Core and Xamarin.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• You will work with a team of software engineers to add functionality and improve and upgrade digital experience.
• You will create detailed forward-looking technical roadmaps and architectural designs.
• You will drive the delivery of new technology solutions to Regions’ customer.
• You will work with product managers to ensure the product meets customer expectations.
• You will help mentor and train other developers on coding practices and standards.
• You will maintain a process-oriented culture leading the team in developing software products using agile methodologies.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Professional experience programming in Xamarin using Xamarin Forms, Xamarin and Native SDK integrations, integrating with REST API, MVVM framework and Xamarin mobile app testing.
• Professional experience programming in Xamarin to support iOS and Android platforms for both mobile and tablets.
• Experience supporting ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) on the iOS and Android mobile apps.
• Exposure and experience to MAUI (new version of Mobile framework from Microsoft).
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming first principles and SOLID principles.
• Solid understanding of Mobile application architecture and operations.
• Professional experience working with version control tools like Git, Mercurial.
• Professional experience working with code repositories like Bitbucket, GitHub.
• Professional experience working with continuous integration build servers like Bamboo, Jenkins and Harness.
• Network programming including TCP and UDP protocols.
• Professional experience with MS Visual Studio.
• Professional experience with concurrent, multi-threaded, and asynchronous programming.
• Evident interest in keeping up to date with technology landscape and state-of-the-art.

Preferred Job Skills and Experience

• Experience with containerized application development and knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Experience with production support and work in team environment with multiple interfaces.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Vast knowledge of current trends in the common platform omnichannel architecture and technology.
