CNC Lathe Machinist

CNC Lathe OR Swiss Machinist Operator / Setup Operator Responsibilities CNC Swiss Operator Operate CNC Swiss machines in a production environment Load raw material and monitor machine performance during production runs Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and work instructions Make minor tool wear offsets and adjustments as needed Maintain production quality and efficiency standards Troubleshoot minor machine or tooling issues Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures CNC Swiss Setup Operator Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and job changeovers Set tooling, load programs, and verify first article inspections Edit offsets and make adjustments at the machine as needed Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues Optimize cycle times and improve production efficiency Support operators during production runs Ensure parts are manufactured to print and quality standards Qualifications Experience operating and/or setting up CNC Swiss machines required Experience with Fanuc controls preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions CTD112 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
