Logistics Team Volunteer

The American Red Cross Greater Pennsylvania

Purpose:

Support the Disaster Cycle Services team by helping manage vehicles, supplies, and facilities to ensure smooth disaster response and recovery operations.

Responsibilities:

Assist with vehicle tracking and maintain fleet records
Ensure routine maintenance and service records are up to date
Order and organize supplies and equipment
Conduct facility inspections and support warehouse operations
Help with local procurement and storing supplies
Participate in team meetings and complete assigned tasks
Follow Red Cross standards, procedures, and reporting tools
Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Valid driver’s license (required)
Willingness to follow Red Cross COVID-19 safety policies
Good organizational skills; reliable and punctual
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable attending and contributing to meetings
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling
Willing to learn resource planning and logistics tools
