Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

The Production Associate plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of magnet wire products, overseeing the process from start to finish. Responsibilities include material handling, machine operation, and quality assurance, ensuring a seamless and efficient production line.

Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials to prepare them for production.
• Load the production line by feeding raw wire into the system as required.
• Understand specification sheets to set machines appropriately.
• Operate machines and troubleshoot basic issues, ensuring quality via HMI touchscreen.
• Pull enamel samples and document in-process updates.
• Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move and store finished products.
• Maintain attention to detail and work safely with minimal supervision.

Essential Skills

• Willing to be trained on forklifts.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand work orders in English.
• Experience in machine operation and quality inspection.
• Capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction.
• Willingness to be trained on new equipment.
• Strong tenure at previous positions.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a 2/2/3 schedule.
• Not afraid of heights and comfortable with using grated stairs.

Work Environment

The building offers a temperature-controlled and clean environment, resembling a clean room for regulated automotive products. The facility supports Japanese automotive clients with high-quality specifications and is equipped with highly automated machinery that requires attention to detail and self-motivation. Shift options are available with competitive pay rates.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN.

The pay range for this position is $21.11 - $22.36/hr.
