A DAY IN THE LIFE

Partner with project teams, marketing, and administrative stakeholders to prepare and submit accurate owner billings and resolve discrepancies. Process all overhead and job cost invoices throughout the month. Communicate daily with vendors and subcontractors to resolve billing, payment, and documentation issues. Manage lien waiver collection, tracking, and verification to support payout authorization and compliance requirements. Maintain and audit vendor compliance records within ERP and payment systems to support accurate documentation, payment processing, and financial controls. Perform monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations, assist with cash reconciliation, and prepare collection reporting to support month‑end close accuracy. Support controller‑directed accounting tasks and project‑related financial initiatives as needed. Respond to requests for information and analysis from the Project Managers on various job cost and subcontractor issues. Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and project teams to support efficient issue resolution.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma required. Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; construction accounting experience strongly preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project priorities independently. Understanding of project cost tracking, subcontractor billing, and financial controls. High attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion. Ability to work effectively under deadlines and high pressure. Proven Ability to work with and build relationships with a wide variety of people. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. Experience with construction ERP systems (e.g., Viewpoint, Textura) preferred.
