Machine Operator (medical device)

Job Title

Join our team in Hudson, WI, a charming city known for its picturesque views of the St. Croix River and vibrant community life. We are seeking a skilled individual responsible for operating a computer-based laser machining work center.

Responsibilities

• Perform medium to high complexity tasks related to customer-specific process requirements, ensuring comprehension of documentation requirements.
• Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation and adjust system settings within established guidelines as necessary.
• Inspect components to ensure specifications are met.
• Enter data and report issues as required.
• Take responsibility for all required process documentation as directed.
• Train other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by the Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow instructions from the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to company policy and safe labor practices.
• Use laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources safely, considering various wavelengths of laser light for personal protection.
• Maintain a high standard of conduct and job performance in a professional and appropriate manner.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, or completion of primary school in Costa Rica.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a comparable manufacturing environment, preferably utilizing computer-aided machinery or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to follow detailed technical processes using mechanical equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated inspection equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems, particularly in medical device manufacturing.
• Experience using optical inspection equipment, such as magnifiers, microscopes, or equipment used for measuring capacity.
