VP, Business Analysis Specialist - Futures & GFI Products

Work Location: New York, New York, United States of America Hours: 40 Line of Business: TD Securities Pay Detail: $150,000 - $185,000 USD Role Summary Senior Business Analyst to support delivery of strategic initiatives across Futures Clearing and Global Fixed Income (GFI) product portfolios. The role will drive requirements, stakeholder alignment, and solution design for complex, front‑to‑back initiatives spanning trading, risk, and technology. Key Responsibilities Lead business analysis for initiatives including new product enablement, model enhancements, and regulatory programs. Translate business needs into clear requirements and functional specifications. Partner with trading desks, risk, finance, and technology teams to drive alignment. Support impact assessments, planning‑phase analysis, and estimation activities. Produce high‑quality artifacts (BRDs, process flows, executive summaries). Support UAT, governance, and delivery execution. Support the end‑to‑end delivery of the project's deliverables involving high complexity and many cross‑functional and stakeholder dependencies. Provide leadership to technology and business partners to turn requirements into delivery with analyses and recommendations for solutions that meet business objectives in a timely and cost‑effective manner. Provide timely updates on project status, analyses and findings to senior management and various stakeholders. Conduct ongoing oversight and review to ensure effective implementation of Change Delivery initiatives through requirement building and stream planning. Lead stakeholder management activities and communication through stream deliverables. Understand and manage cross‑stream interdependencies. Assist the PDL with tracking project tasks, dependencies, and requirement gaps (ensuring traction and resolution on all items). Identify and escalated issues to the appropriate individual(s)/group(s) to ensure prompt attention/ resolution. Ensure all infrastructure build activities are supported by adequate documentation. Provide coaching and direction to junior members of the team. Requirements 7–10+ years of business analysis experience in Capital Markets. Strong knowledge of Futures, Fixed Income, or derivatives products. Understanding of front‑to‑back trade lifecycle, valuation, and risk. Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives. Excellent communication skills with experience supporting senior stakeholders. Experience with front‑to‑back trade lifecycle and delivery frameworks (Agile/Hybrid). Familiarity with systems such as ION‑XTP, Calypso, Murex, or equivalent is an asset. Experience with Agile / hybrid delivery models preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study required. 7+ years of prior experience in organizational change management activities. In‑depth understanding and subject matter expertise in self‑clearing, with experience in Futures preferred. Superior understanding of the end‑to‑end clearing workflow, with in‑depth knowledge of the operational aspects. Superior organizational skills (must be able to identify and track project dependencies & blockages, ensure proper resolution of outstanding items, document meeting minutes and takeaways in a clear and concise manner). Advanced Excel data manipulation skills (ability to derive findings/conclusions from large datasets and troubleshoot errors). Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks and manage time effectively. Flexibility to be able to adapt to unfamiliar, ambiguous or changing conditions. Demonstrated ability to make sound recommendations for business decisions. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
