Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with experience in respiratory and neuro diagnostics for a day shift travel assignment at a large health system in New Orleans, LA.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at a major health system in New Orleans, LA
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active CRT or RRT credential required; state license required if applicable
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be an experienced RT — new graduates will not be considered
• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position, provided the candidate has sufficient RT experience
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• In the event of a declared emergency, travelers may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at the facility until the event concludes or to serve as part of a relief team — candidates uncomfortable with this expectation should not apply
