Salary Range: $116,000 - $165,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Implement and enforce engineering best practices, standards, and safety protocols.
• Evaluate new technologies and solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation technologies.
• Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and performance management of engineering teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and their application in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
