Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care for physical therapy needs
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and modalities as ordered
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust the plan of care accordingly
• Communicate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and functional goals
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and standards

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in Delaware or eligibility to practice in Delaware
• Degree in physical therapy from an accredited program (professional credentialing expected)
• Ability to work in a hospital/travel assignment setting and complete a 40-hour workweek
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrated documentation proficiency and clinical reasoning in physical therapy
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adhere to facility policies and procedures
