About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to spearhead its enterprise compliance function. The CCO will be responsible for setting and implementing the vision, strategy, and operating model for compliance across all business product lines and services, with a focus on regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and financial crimes compliance. This role demands a hands-on, credible leader with a proven track record in compliance transformation, including modernizing compliance technology and building a scalable, risk-based program. The successful candidate will also serve as the primary point of contact for key regulators, advise the Management Committee and Board on emerging regulatory risks, and partner with business and technology leaders to ensure compliance is embedded in new product launches. Candidates for the CCO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive compliance, risk, or related regulatory experience within financial services, with a strong preference for those who have operated in large, complex, multi-line institutions. Experience in both traditional banking and fintech/payments environments is essential, particularly in the areas of digital assets and embedded AI. The role requires a leader who can balance rigorous risk management with commercial pragmatism and is comfortable collaborating with technology and product teams. A J.D. or equivalent advanced degree is preferred, and relevant certifications are a plus. The ideal candidate will have a diverse background that combines traditional regulatory rigor with practical experience in contemporary financial technologies, and a proven ability to lead a high-performing compliance team.
