In this role, you will work one-on-one with students, providing them with personalized academic and behavioral support throughout the school day. You’ll be integral to creating a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, collaborating closely with teachers and specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide, preferably in a school or youth-centered environment
• Familiarity with supporting students requiring individualized attention, including those with disabilities or learning differences
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and communicate clearly with both students and staff
• Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable approach to addressing diverse student needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of paraeducator training programs or relevant certifications is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent 1:1 instructional and behavioral assistance to assigned student(s) during classroom and school activities
• Support students with daily routines, transitions, and task completion
• Help adapt classroom materials and assignments under the guidance of certified teachers
• Promote student independence while encouraging positive interactions with peers
• Assist with documentation and observation of student progress as needed
