Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within a school setting is preferred
• Strong commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers and school staff
• Patience, adaptability, and empathy in assisting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional educational training or certifications a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized 1:1 support to students, following individualized education plans and teacher guidance
• Assist with academic activities and help students remain focused and engaged during lessons
• Encourage positive behavior and provide emotional support throughout the school day
• Help students participate in classroom and school activities, adapting assistance as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to monitor student progress and communicate important updates
• Support students with mobility, communication, and self-care needs as needed, always maintaining respect and dignity
