Desired Qualifications:

• Active Substitute Certificate on DESE
• Previous experience in schools, especially with behavioral support
• Reliable transportation required
• Willingness to undergo district-specific fingerprinting prior to starting
• Flexible mindset—open to potential placement changes during the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with academic, social, and behavioral support for students
• Provide individualized or small group instruction as directed by certified staff
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement IEPs and other support plans
• Participate in professional development sessions and team meetings

Assignment Details:

• Two roles available: One at the middle school level (hours: 7:00-2:30), one at the elementary level (hours: 9:00-4:25)
• Full academic year assignments, wrapping up in late May
• Possibility to transition to a direct district position after six months of service
