Sales - Customer Service Representative - Integrated Supply
Location: Kansas City, Kansas
Shift/Schedule: Full-time, day shift, Monday to Friday
Pay/Compensation: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour

About the Role

An established industrial supply distributor is hiring a Customer Service Representative for an onsite integrated supply program. You will be the go-to contact for plant customers ordering parts and supplies. This contract suits a service-minded professional who enjoys solving problems quickly.

Assignment Details

• Contract assignment, 6 months with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 1
• Anticipated start: within the next two to three weeks

Core Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, quotes and returns accurately
• Answer product, pricing and delivery questions by phone and email
• Source hard-to-find items through vendors and catalogs
• Track open orders and follow up on late shipments
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system
• Build strong relationships with onsite plant customers

Required Qualifications

• 2 or more years of customer service or inside sales experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and an ERP system
• Clear phone and written communication skills
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail
• Able to work onsite at a customer facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial, MRO or safety products experience
• SAP or Oracle ERP experience
• Purchasing or procurement background
• Prior work in a fast-paced distribution or industrial setting
• Willingness to cross-train in receiving, shipping and inventory
• Strong record of attendance and safe work habits
