In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for exams and orient patient/family to the environmentConfirm radiology services have been completed prior to physician visitsAssist with disinfecting exam rooms between patient useAssist patients with wayfinding and transport (e.g., wheelchair) throughout the siteAssist in managing patient information, uploading CD images & making copies of pertinent examsAssist with patient rooming tasks (i.e., medical history, vital signs, pulse oximeter readings, height/weight, etc.)Assist prescribers with proceduresAssist with stocking exam roomsEnsure patient care areas are neat and presentableProvide exceptional customer service to all patients, visitors, and staffRespond to patient, visitor, and staff inquiryMinimum RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent to at least one year of experience as a nursing attendant, EMT, PCT, CNA, Medical Assistant, or previous member of armed medical corpsNon-Discrimination Policy Hospital for Special Surgery is committed to providing high quality care and skilled, compassionate, reliable service to our community in a safe and healing environment.
