This is a 40 hour per week position.
Work hours are somewhere between 7 am and 5:30 pm dependent on the position and patient needs. Some positions may work on a Saturday rotation with hours between 7 am and 12 pm.
This position may require traveling to all of our locations.

Responsibilities
Handling all medical records accurately and efficiently. Scanning documents into the EHR system, faxing patient reports, entering health information into patients EHR via phone contact, handling internal medical record requests.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong data entry skills
- Experience with medical records preferred
- Ability to type 20-30 wpm.
Essential Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional typing and computer skills required to efficiently and accurately enter medical record data.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team as needed.
- Highly motivated and organized. Attention to detail and ability to multi task with frequent interruptions.
- Outstanding time management skills to process patient information in reasonable amount of time.
- Representative of mission and vision of the Illinois Eye Center.
- Ability to bend, reach, stand for long periods of time, and be able to lift approximately 30 lbs.
