Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: Must have 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting. Description: This position will be focused on providing emergency care to patients. The nurse will work within a team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs and managing critical situations. Expected patient ratios are 1:3. Weekend coverage is required, with six weekends scheduled every six weeks. Traveling staff may not be required to float between units. The dress code consists of solid navy blue uniforms for licensed personnel. Certifications including ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC are necessary for this role. The facility focuses on trauma, stroke, and cardiac care. Candidates should be prepared to manage a variety of acute conditions. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including respiratory services and social services. Must commit to working three of five specified holidays. Travelers should be prepared to comply with the facility's policies and scheduling requests. References covering the last three years will be required prior to the start date.
