Outside Sales Representative

Location: South Texas Job Type: Full-Time POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Outside Service Sales Representative to grow and develop service sales throughout the South Texas market. This position will focus on developing new and existing customer relationships, growing inspection and service contract revenue, identifying repair and modernization opportunities, and ensuring customers receive a high level of support throughout the sales and service process. The ideal candidate will have experience selling crane services, inspections, repairs, modernization, or related industrial equipment services and be comfortable developing business in the field. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and develop service sales throughout South Texas , executing sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth objectives. Develop new customer relationships while expanding business with existing accounts. Develop and maintain preventive maintenance and inspection service contracts . Maximize service revenue from inspection customers by identifying and quoting recommended and planned repairs . Identify, develop, and quote crane modernization and equipment upgrade opportunities . Conduct customer visits, site evaluations, and follow-up meetings throughout the assigned territory. Prepare and present service proposals and quotations. Participate in the quoting process and strategic customer negotiations. Track sales activity, opportunities, pipeline, and monthly forecasts. Communicate monthly sales forecasts and results to management. Work closely with service operations to support the scheduling and planning of pending work orders . Follow up on completed work orders to help ensure timely invoicing. Assist with the collection of past-due customer invoices when required. Maintain strong relationships with customers and serve as a key point of contact for their ongoing crane service requirements. QUALIFICATIONS Previous outside sales, service sales, or business development experience within the crane industry strongly preferred. Experience with overhead cranes, hoists, inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, or crane modernization is highly desirable. Strong understanding of industrial service sales and recurring service contracts. Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing customer accounts. Comfortable prospecting, conducting customer site visits, and developing relationships with maintenance, operations, and facility personnel. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain an accurate sales pipeline. Willingness to travel throughout the South Texas territory as required.
