Senior Financial Analyst

Position:Senior Financial Analyst Location:Honolulu Salary:$85,000- $100,000 annually, depending on experience Financial institution seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join a growing finance and accounting team. This role will serve as a key contributor in preparing financial reporting, analyzing performance trends, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses. Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to leadership. Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory reporting requirements. Support month-end and year-end close processes and maintain the integrity of financial data. Partner with accounting, finance, and operational teams to assess reporting impacts of business activities and complex transactions. Assist with external audits, examinations, and reporting requests. Develop and document financial reporting procedures and best practices. Utilize financial systems and data analysis tools to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 4+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or finance experience Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements and performing variance analysis Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets. Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar data analytics platforms preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information to various audiences.
