Immediate need for a talented Data Modeler with experience in the IT Industry. This is a 6+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Philadelphia, PA. Please review the job description below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for analyzing and developing complex logical database designs, logical data models and relational data definitions in support of corporate and customer information systems requirements.
• Understands the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations.
• Responsible for the identification and resolution of information flow, content issues and the transformation of business requirements into logical data models.
• This position identifies opportunities to reduce data redundancy, trends in data uses and single sources of data. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
• Typically has at least 6-8 years of IT work experience in data modeling, data analysis, relational DBMS design and support and relevant computing environments.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Working experience of UNIX (command level).
• Extensive working knowledge on Microsoft Excel at high-end which needs formula writing.
• Broadband & Wi-Fi device knowledge.
• Should be highly adaptive to quick changing needs of projects.
• Working experience with broadband devices like Gateway, Routers, and Wi-Fi devices is nice to have.
• Exposure to Netezza DB is nice to have.
• 6-8 years of IT experience.
• Multitasking without loss of priority.
• Coordination with cross functional teams to identify gaps, align process and data dependencies and project on data trends.
• Analyze huge volumes of Wi-Fi Broadband device related raw data from database.
• Escalation Data analysis, Data preparation & communication.
• Extract data from Servers & analysis as needed for particular task.
• Prepare Swap list with Account level details by working with Billers.
• Detailed & meticulous documentation of all analyzed data is key, database schema and frequently pulled queries.
