Preschool Assistant Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team! Our twos program is all about discovery, independence, and building the foundation for a lifetime love of learning.

As a Preschool Assistant Teacher , you'll guide curious little learners through hands-on experiences that encourage exploration, language development, and social growth - all within a nurturing, safe, and fun classroom environment.

What You'll Do

• Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support each child's development.
• Foster social-emotional growth by modeling kindness, patience, and problem-solving.
• Maintain consistent routines that help toddlers feel secure as they grow more independent.
• Build meaningful relationships with families through daily communication and collaboration.
• Partner with your co-teachers and school leaders to uphold a supportive classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Must be available to work 3-6 PM, Monday - Friday
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
• Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and passion for helping children learn through play and exploration.
