Human Resources Generalist

Base pay range $61,000.00/yr - $71,000.00/yr Responsibilities Manage onboarding processes, including prescreening resumes, posting job advertisements, interviewing candidates, issuing offer letters, conducting background checks, and coordinating new hire paperwork. Administer HR policies and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Oversee the online application system and maintain the applicant flow log for EEO reporting. Prepare, update, and maintain job descriptions for all positions. Coordinate the annual performance evaluation process to ensure timely completion. Lead employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture and satisfaction. Assist with HR budget management and cost tracking. Serve as backup for the HRIS/Compensation Manager as needed. Organize and coordinate employee events, including Staff Appreciation Week. Create, maintain, and audit HR personnel files for accuracy and compliance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; a combination of education and relevant training will be considered. 1–3 years of Human Resources experience preferred. Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HR systems. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
