This part‑time position offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in our community, working 3‑4 days per week. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook balanced meals that cater to dietary restrictions and preferences Plan weekly menus in collaboration with dietary staff and residents Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies Engage with residents to understand their meal preferences Provide exceptional service and a warm dining experience Requirements: Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Food safety certification is a plus Passion for cooking and serving the elderly community About Us: Assisted Living Center Inc has been serving the Salisbury community for over 10 years, providing a warm and welcoming environment for our residents.
