Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each client's unique trauma history.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, tailoring approaches to meet clients' specific needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients effectively.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process trauma and develop coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for our clients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness and care in high-stress situations.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources for additional support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards according to mental health practices.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals who are experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients often seek therapy following significant life events such as abuse, loss, or other traumatic experiences. As such, your role will be pivotal in guiding these individuals through their healing processes, facilitating empowerment and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and computer applications for documenting client interactions and tracking progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, with a preference for those with experience delivering trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
