Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a designated caseload of clients, ensuring that you establish rapport and maintain professional boundaries and ethics throughout the therapeutic process.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to assess progress, stability, and to determine the timing of future appointments or discharge as appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes that reflect each client's treatment journey.

• Carrying out intake assessments to evaluate new clients effectively and to formulate treatment strategies.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions weekly that address clients' mental health challenges and promote overall well-being.

• Engaging in individual supervision sessions to enhance your clinical skills and professional development.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with youth, focusing on their unique mental health needs and the challenges they face. Your clients may include children and adolescents dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. By tailoring your approach to the specific needs of each individual, you will support their journey toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field.

• Current state licensure as an LMHC in Massachusetts.

• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

• Minimum of one year of professional experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals facing substance abuse challenges.

• Demonstrated experience in assessment, diagnosis, and conducting both individual and group therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
