Work Environment\n

This role operates in a fully remote setting, allowing therapists the flexibility to connect with patients via telehealth from the comfort of their homes. Our practice embraces modern technology to facilitate communication and therapy sessions, utilizing a secure electronic health record (EHR) system to manage patient documentation. Although the standard work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be needed based on patient needs and appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patients’ concerns and histories, subsequently developing individualized treatment plans that cater to specific needs.

• Provide direct therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, employing various evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Organize and lead psychoeducational groups to foster community support among patients facing similar challenges, enhancing their coping skills and resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for every client.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing interventions that prioritize patient safety and stability.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and the resources available in the community.

• Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards while accurately documenting patient interactions and treatment progress within our electronic health records system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve patients dealing with common mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Our clinic emphasizes a compassionate approach to addressing each patient's unique circumstances, recognizing that effective therapy must be tailored to diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Applicants must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Massachusetts is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
