Positive Perspectives Counseling Center is excited to offer full-time positions for committed and compassionate Mental Health Therapists. We are looking for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will employ evidence-based practices to provide essential mental health support to clients in a remote setting.

Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to provide high-quality care from the comfort of your own home. As a member of our team, you will benefit from a flexible work schedule, typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While our standard hours are fixed, some flexibility may be required to accommodate client needs and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine each client's unique needs and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to facilitate healing and growth.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that offer a safe space for clients to share experiences and learn coping skills.
\n
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care that encompasses all aspects of a client's health.

• Provide crisis intervention services and effective support when clients face mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients on mental health disorders, available treatment options, and beneficial community resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential electronic documentation of all client interactions and treatment outcomes, ensuring adherence to ethical standards.

• Stay engaged in continuous learning by participating in team meetings and case consultations focused on best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds experiencing a wide array of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts is essential to practice.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches, with a proven ability to implement effective treatment plans.

• Strong competency in conducting assessments and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, paired with sound judgment and ethics in patient interactions.

• Experience and proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in a remote setting or community health clinic is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver services to a diverse clientele, especially those with complex co-occurring disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
