Project Governance Coordinator

Project Governance Coordinator TRC Talent Solutions seeks a Project Governance Coordinator to join a growing healthcare organization on a contract-to-hire basis. This organization is a premier, rapidly expanding physical therapy and outpatient rehabilitation enterprise currently leading a large-scale clinical quality and workflow optimization initiative designed to transform the patient journey from initial referral through completion of care. This high-visibility role will serve as the operational backbone of a complex, multi-workstream transformation program. You will help ensure project decisions, standards, and deliverables remain organized, aligned, and actionable across multiple governance committees and stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable driving accountability across clinical, operational, and technology teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate working group meetings and maintain detailed documentation of discussions, decisions, risks, and action items. Track deliverables and action items across multiple concurrent workstreams to ensure projects remain on schedule. Maintain project standards, governance documentation, and variance logs to preserve workflow alignment and decision integrity. Coordinate communication and information flow between executive steering committees, governance groups, and project team. Support project managers and stakeholders by monitoring timelines, managing dependencies, and escalating risks when appropriate. Ensure workflow decisions and project standards are documented, communicated, and consistently applied across the organization. Partner with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to drive accountability and maintain project momentum. Protect the integrity of the project model by preventing scope creep and ensuring adherence to established governance processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 3–6 years of project coordination, project management, PMO, healthcare IT, or clinical operations experience. Project Governance: Experience supporting large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholder groups and workstreams. Organization: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Documentation: Strong attention to detail with experience tracking meeting outcomes, action items, decisions, and project artifacts. Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage up and hold operational, clinical, and technical stakeholders accountable to commitments and timelines. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify risks, coordinate resolutions, and maintain project momentum in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office, Teams, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
