The company runs lean and remote-first, without paid ads the growth comes almost entirely from referrals, word of mouth, and repeat clients. That means the systems behind the scenes have to work flawlessly, because reputation is the whole growth engine.

The Opportunity

As the business scales, More Alive needs an Technical Operations & Automation Specialist who can own the technical backbone that keeps everything running: automations, tracking, launches, and the customer experience end-to-end. This role was created to take that operational and technical load off the founder and core team, so nothing breaks quietly and nothing falls through the cracks.

This is a 20 hr/week contractor role with a 30-day paid trial, with the opportunity to grow into a longer-term part-time or full-time position based on performance and fit.

What You'll Do

• Own the full operational arc of launches, programs, and evergreen offers from mapped-out plan through post-launch debrief
• Run and refine the tech stack: Kajabi, ConvertKit, Zapier, checkout flows, tracking, and community spaces, integrating AI automations as we go. We are an AI-forward company.
• Build, monitor, and troubleshoot Zaps. Catch and fix broken automations before they impact a single client
• Make sure client emails are accurate and correctly connected to the right tracking and engagement platforms, every time
• Test funnels, opt-ins, tags, checkout flows, and upsells before traffic scales, and confirm tracking accuracy before launch, not after
• Build and document systems and SOPs so the business gets simpler as it grows, not heavier
• Watch the numbers, notice the patterns, and flag what Andrea needs to see before she needs to see it
• Protect Andrea's energy and spaciousness, because that spaciousness is literally where the revenue comes from

Ideal Candidate

You notice things, not as a resume skill, but as a lifelong compulsion: the wrong date on a graphic, the automation that quietly stopped firing, the client email that fell through a crack nobody else could see. You prevent fires instead of fighting them, because you saw the smoke three weeks ago and handled it. You genuinely enjoy tech. A broken Zap is a puzzle you'd rather solve than hand off, and an empty, well-run inbox is satisfying in a way most people don't understand. You're steady under pressure, consistent without being managed, and able to hold a standard out loud (including with the founder) kindly and directly.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Kajabi, Zapier, and ConvertKit/Kit
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage a customer service inbox
• Strong QA instincts and comfortable catching issues before a client does
• Clear, professional written communication
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working async
• Reliable, verifiable time tracking (Hubstaff) and consistent on-time delivery

Preferred Skills

• Experience with community platform management
• Background in online business management, funnel operations, or technical virtual assistance
• Comfort with AI tools and interest in integrating them into workflows
• Prior experience working with US-based clients or teams

Compensation Details

• $10–14/hr during the 30-day trial period
• Increase after a successful trial, based on performance
• 20 hrs/week, average across the month
• Flexible hours with some fixed availability needed during launch windows
• W9 Contract Position
• Time tracked via Hubstaff; billing is based on verified, logged hours only

Culture & Work Environment

More Alive is not a hustle culture, nobody is expected to answer messages at 11pm, and the team operates from intuition rather than arbitrary deadlines. At the same time, the standard for execution is high: launches run clean, tracking is accurate, and client-facing details don't slip.

This role requires steadiness under pressure and the willingness to speak up when something is off, including to the founder. The right person catches problems early, communicates clearly, and takes real ownership of their part of the business without needing to be managed closely.
