Work Environment\n

This position is a remote telehealth role, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own workspace while maintaining work-life balance. You will work Monday through Friday during regular business hours, specifically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly, ensuring seamless interactions with clients and supporting efficient documentation and communication with the mental health team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing diagnostic tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences, incorporating their feedback and insights into the planning process.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate symptom improvement.

• Provide education to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices to enhance support systems.
\n
• Systematically monitor and document clients' progress throughout treatment, making timely adjustments to therapeutic plans based on their evolving needs and response to interventions.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in mood disorder treatment through continuous education and training, applying current research to clinical practice.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment strategies, complying with ethical and legal standards to safeguard client privacy.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development programs to foster clinical expertise and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, helping to reduce stigma surrounding mood disorders and promoting awareness within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily be working with a diverse patient population experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Many of our clients are seeking not just relief from symptoms, but also a supportive therapeutic alliance in a safe and understanding environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities like CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to work effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals in a collaborative care setting.

• A proven track record of achieving successful outcomes in treating individuals with mood disorders.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
