Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekend & Holiday Rotation | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level nursing care in a high-acuity PCU environment with a 1:5 patient ratio, including management of multiple long-term patients
• Perform management and interpretation of dysrhythmias and cardiac telemetry monitoring
• Manage and maintain peripheral lines and PICC lines
• Titrate IV drips as ordered and in accordance with unit protocols
• Float to other campus locations as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• ACLS , BLS , and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity PCU or stepdown unit
• Familiarity with titrating vasoactive or other critical drips
• Experience floating across multiple units or campuses
