Registered Nurse (Full Time – Nights 7:00pm – 7:30am) Overview Registered nurse (RN) joining our team at University Hospital Avon Rehab will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring compassionate, evidence‑based care for our patients. Plan and deliver care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Document patient care provided. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assist patients with activities of daily living—personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support. Assess learning needs of patients and families and provide education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
