ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALISTWe're looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join an established organization with a collaborative accounting team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying busy, solving problems, and taking ownership of day-to-day AP responsibilities.ABOUT THE COMPANYEstablished organization with a stable, team-oriented environmentCollaborative accounting team with strong internal supportBusiness casual work environmentOpportunity to take on a variety of AP and accounting responsibilitiesHybrid schedule available after trainingWHAT YOU'LL DO AS THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALISTProcess a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately and efficientlyReview and vouch invoices and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and proper approvalsThe AP Specialist will process vendor payments through ACH, checks, and wire transfersReview and process employee expense reports and maintain accurate documentationThe AP Specialist will manage company credit card transactions and reconcile activityReconcile vendor accounts and research and resolve discrepanciesWork closely with internal teams and branch locations to resolve AP questions and issuesThe AP Specialist will assist with additional accounting projects and responsibilities as neededWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALISTPrevious accounts payable or accounting experienceExperience processing invoices and paymentsIntermediate Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with VLOOKUPs and PivotTables is a plusAbility to research discrepancies and solve problemsComfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting between tasks throughout the dayWHY THIS ROLE MAY BE A GOOD FITHigh-volume AP role with variety in your day-to-day responsibilitiesOpportunity to work with invoices, payments, expenses, reconciliations, and branch supportCollaborative, team-focused environmentBusiness casual dress code with jeans permittedHybrid schedule available after trainingOpportunity to build and expand your accounting experience
