Certified Surgical Technician Surgical Technology

Schedule: Shift: 06:30-17:00 (06:30) Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Assignment Details:

• 136 bed facility offering state-of-the-art orthopedics featuring navigational technology and sports medicine, expanded rehabilitation services, and enhanced diagnostic imaging.
• Patient ratio: Days 4:1, Nights 5:1

Requirements:

• Certified Surgical Technician
• Responsible for aseptic technique in the operating room
• Familiarity with required equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Set up the operating room and ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for assigned cases.
• Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Pull cases as needed and assist in breaking down cases at the end of procedures.
• Be available for call on an assigned, scheduled basis as required by unit need.
