Assistant Controller

Our client is a global SaaS company. They seek an Assistant Controller to join their Manhattan, NY office. Responsibilities Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness across all legal entities Approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules prepared by the accounting team Lead global consolidation activities, including intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and minority interest adjustments Produce consolidation reporting packages for leadership and the board Oversee revenue recognition across a global SaaS portfolio in accordance with ASC 606 and internal policies Evaluate complex customer contracts to determine performance obligations and appropriate recognition methodology Supervise accounts receivable operations, including billing, collections, and bad debt reserves Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements Support external audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation and explanations Develop and mentor the accounting team while partnering cross-functionally and contributing to system and ERP enhancements Requirements 7-15 years of relevant experience Technology/SaaS industry experience required #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Group, LLC
