Bus Monitor

Job TitleCedar Bus Company LLCJob DescriptionEnsure transportation and workplace safety policies are in compliance with company, state and federal regulations. Safely transport clients to and from programs in the mornings and afternoons. Ensure that the bus is always kept clean. Ensure safety of all clients. This includes securing wheelchair bound clients as well as operating the wheelchair lift and checking working condition of seatbelts. Keep your routes updated and dispatch abreast of any issues that may arise (e.g. running behind schedule). Report all disciplinary issues to operations staff so appropriate measures can be taken. Assist clients with getting on and off the bus as needed. Be flexible and assist other routes as needed. Work as a member of a team – with drivers, operations staff. Attend periodic regular safety trainings. Buckling of client's seatbelts and checking periodically that clients remain buckled. Assist driver with directions as needed. Cleaning bus during course of duty shift Filling out run sheet data. Being dependable and on time. All other job duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager and/or his or her designee.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED Be at least 18 years of age Ability to pull and push 250 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs.
