As an Electrical Engineer in the Engineering department, you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and industrializing innovative electronic systems used in modern medical devices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - including mechanical design, quality, product management and production - to bring reliable, safe, and regulatory-compliant medical devices to market.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Mid-level role with responsibilities for design, development, and analysis of electronic systems for utility room products.
• Performs engineering design evaluations.
• Processes Engineering Change Request.
• Maintains and updates firmware for the products.
• Recommends and performs alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
• Create and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct testing and validation of new and existing designs and analyze post-test data.
• Create design documentation, including drawing, specifications, layouts, test reports and diagrams.
• Able to work independently according to project requirements and take responsibility for projects and results

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in analog / digital circuit design and microcontroller programming.
• Experience with embedded firmware in C, C++ as well as object-oriented programming.
• Experience with PCB design software (Pulsonix, Orcad or similar)
• Experience designing regulated products (UL, CE/ISO, FDA) desirable
• Experience in EMI/EMC PCB design and testing desirable
• BS or BE in Electrical Engineering or highly related field
