Job Overview A law firm seeks a Patents Counsel with a focus on electrical engineering to join its team in New York City, NY. The candidate should have a strong background in patent prosecution and experience in technologies such as 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, and more. This role offers location flexibility across U.S. offices. Duties Manage patent prosecution for wireless technologies and AI systems. Collaborate with clients to develop and manage patent portfolios. Conduct research and analysis to support patent applications. Provide strategic advice on patent-related matters. Requirements Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent. Minimum of two years of patent prosecution experience. Registered with the USPTO or eligible to register. Admitted to the Bar and in good standing, or eligible to waive in. Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Education Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Certifications USPTO registration or eligibility. Skills Experience with 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, and related technologies. Client liaison and portfolio management skills. Preferred experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, and AI fields.
