Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized one-on-one care to up to 7 residents per day, conducting focused physical therapy sessions that are tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify physical limitations and devise personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility and function.
• Utilize evidence-based hands-on techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to improve physical function and alleviate pain.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of the residents' health and recovery are addressed.
• Create a motivating and engaging therapeutic environment that encourages residents to actively participate in their recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, although exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
