Our practice is committed to delivering high-quality physical therapy services, specializing in orthopedic outpatient care. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art sports medicine technology to support our patients' rehabilitation journeys. Our team, composed of two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), fosters a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work onsite in a supportive rehabilitation environment. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Our facility is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere that simplifies the path to recovery and promotes optimal health through tailored therapy options.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and interpret individual patient needs to establish effective treatment goals and objectives.
• Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality, individualized care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to develop and implement wide-ranging treatment plans.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic modalities to improve patients' functional mobility and decrease discomfort.
• Propose non-invasive alternatives to surgery and minimize reliance on medications through appropriate interventions.
• Design customized wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient's unique challenges and goals.
• Facilitate patient motivation and engagement throughout the treatment process to enhance their overall outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Document all sessions accurately and maintain clear lines of communication regarding patient progress.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify interventions as necessary to optimize recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographic consists of individuals covered by private medical insurance seeking orthopedic rehabilitation. We focus on personalized care that respects each patient's unique circumstances and challenges, striving to help them regain independence and improve overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• No history of disciplinary actions or board notifications against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Strong skills in designing and executing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years' experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required, candidates with extensive backgrounds in diverse therapeutic practices and patient management will stand out in the selection process. Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation methods or specialized certifications will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
