Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a caseload of clients, establishing rapport through effective communication and consistent engagement.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and manage discharge planning as appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment plans that are tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Keep meticulous records and documentation for each client, ensuring compliance with health regulations and organizational standards.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to establish treatment goals and understand client history.
\n
• Offer individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.

• Engage in individual supervision sessions to discuss client cases and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our services cater to a diverse clientele dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. As an LMHC at Harford Therapeutic & Anxiety Services, you will have the opportunity to work with both psychiatric and substance use populations, applying your clinical skills to effect positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• Ability to comply with internal credentialing requirements within clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric and/or substance abuse patients.
\n
• Proficient in conducting assessments, diagnoses, and implementing therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems for effective documentation and care management.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

Compensation and Benefits\n
