Work Environment

This Physical Therapist position is based onsite at our advanced rehabilitation center. You will work in a collaborative environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including fellow therapists, nurses, and administrative staff. Our facility is designed for efficiency and patient comfort, featuring modern equipment and dedicated therapy spaces. The work schedule is structured from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, offering a balanced work-life harmony.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized and evidence-based treatment plans that cater to the individual needs and goals of each patient.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring that each patient receives adequate attention, leading to better therapeutic outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic outpatient care, applying your experience as a Physical Therapist to treat diverse musculoskeletal disorders.
• Utilize a range of cost-effective therapeutic interventions to promote healing and enhance mobility, focusing on non-surgical solutions to reduce reliance on medications.
• Regularly develop comprehensive care plans that integrate various treatment modalities to optimize patient rehabilitation.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that help patients achieve their personal health goals.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their therapy process, fostering a positive therapeutic alliance.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, using electronic health record (EHR) interfaces to maintain clear and precise records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Feel Life Body Therapy & Home Care, you will work with a wide range of patients, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals recovering from surgeries, and patients with chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Our focus is on providing comprehensive care to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, thereby improving overall patient wellness.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Expertise in various manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in current treatment practices.
• Experience in developing and executing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR), particularly with software like Web PT, to ensure accurate documentation.
• Strong commitment to staying updated with the latest physical therapy research and techniques, ensuring the delivery of the best possible care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly in sports medicine or rehabilitation.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
