Sales Representative

Responsibilities Greet customers and guide them through the vehicle purchase process with professionalism and enthusiasm Build lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations Present and demonstrate Mazda vehicles, features, and technology Stay informed about current inventory, promotions, and industry trends Work closely with the sales management team to achieve monthly goals Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat/referral business Report on key performance and sales metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure sales goals are achieved Assess and send qualified leads to inbound sales representatives so they can convert clients and provide quick turnaround Communicate with prospects via email, phone calls or other forms of communication to convert them into qualified leads and funnel them to the sales pipeline Update customer database regularly to provide the most up-to-date client information to the sales team Expand the clientele by finding new business opportunities within specific geographies Qualifications Prior automotive sales experience preferred, but not required—we provide training Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude, self-motivation, and a team‑player mindset Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record High school diploma or GED is required, bachelor’s degree preferred Proven track record of at least 2 years of experience in a sales position or related field Understand the sales process and how to enter information into client databases Great time management, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to travel by car Compensation $50,000 - $150,000/year About South Bay Mazda At South Bay Mazda, we believe in delivering a better car-buying experience built on trust, transparency, and exceptional service.
