Position Overview
We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Business Development Representative to expand market share throughout the Greater Los Angeles region and West Coast.
This is a high-visibility B2B sales role focused on identifying, cultivating, and closing new accounts within the eCommerce, 3PL, publishing, direct marketing, and commercial printer verticals. The ideal candidate is a proven outside sales hunter who thrives on high-volume prospecting, executive discovery, and consultative solution selling—delivering strategies that lower shipping costs, optimize transit times, and accelerate global growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Territory Growth: Develop and execute a strategic territory pipeline throughout Southern California and the West Coast.
- Prospect & Acquire Accounts: Hunt new business opportunities through targeted outreach, cold calling, networking, and industry lead generation.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct structured discovery meetings with C-level and supply chain decision-makers to identify distribution pain points.
- Full Sales Cycle Execution: Deliver solution-focused presentations, formulate competitive pricing proposals, negotiate service agreements, and close high-margin contracts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with internal Operations, IT, and Pricing teams to onboard and scale new clients smoothly.
- CRM Operations: Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, daily activity reporting, and account management records in Salesforce.
- Client Engagement: Conduct on-site customer visits and attend key regional trade shows and industry conferences.
Qualifications & Background
- 3+ consecutive years of outside B2B sales experience with a proven history of hunting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Direct industry experience in international shipping, parcel logistics, 3PL/fulfillment, freight forwarding, postal solutions, or eCommerce technology.
- Proven deal-closer skilled in consultative discovery, territory management, and contract negotiation.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems required ( Salesforce strongly preferred ).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and executive presentation capabilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Mobility: Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory for client visits and business development.
