Senior Full-Cycle Recruiter

Recruiter Position

Compensation: $2,000-$2,500 USD/month + retention bonuses

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM-5 PM Pacific Time

Long-term, full-time independent contractor role

Do It Right Plumbers is bringing recruiting in-house. We're a growing residential home-services company in Orange County, California, looking for an experienced recruiter to own hiring across our local and remote teams.

This is not a high-volume recruiting role. We typically make 1-4 hires per month, and we'd rather make a few exceptional hires than fill seats quickly with the wrong people.

You'll recruit across plumbing and skilled trades, field sales, inside sales, customer service, dispatch, install and operations.

What You'll Own

• Full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer
• Active candidate sourcing, not just reviewing applications
• Screening and interviewing candidates
• Managing assessments and follow-up
• Building pipelines for hard-to-fill positions
• Partnering directly with hiring managers
• Keeping our ATS organized and current

This Role Requires More Than LinkedIn

Some of our most important hires are plumbing installers and field salespeople who may never have a polished LinkedIn profile. You need to know how to find talent through:

• Facebook and local Facebook groups
• Trade and industry communities
• Local job boards
• Competitor research
• Referral networks
• Social media
• Direct outreach
• LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search
• Other creative sourcing channels you discover

You should be comfortable learning the Orange County market from another country and figuring out where great local talent actually spends their time.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
• Experience recruiting for U.S. companies or clients
• Strong outbound sourcing experience
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, job boards and ATS platforms
• Experience sourcing through Facebook, social communities or other nontraditional channels
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Fast, resourceful and highly self-directed
• Experience recruiting plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, skilled trades or salespeople is a major plus.

This is recruiting, not HR. You will not own employee relations, compliance or write-ups.
