As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to associates and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Verify identification, credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for individuals and vehicles entering or exiting the distribution location. Monitor access points, gates, and visitor logs; document entries, incidents, irregularities, and security-related concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
