Program Manager Radiology

Overview Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is a teaching and research‑centered health system located in Nashville, Tennessee. The Radiology Program seeks a Program Manager to plan, develop, and execute program initiatives that impact a significant segment of the organization. Job Summary Plan, develop, and execute ongoing program(s) that impact a significant segment of the organization under occasional guidance, including coordinating program activities, managing budgets, providing training, and promoting growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee the creation, coordination, and execution of program initiatives. Provide budgetary management and monitor financial performance. Train and guide individuals supporting the program. Promote growth and expansion of the program. Perform additional duties as assigned. Technical Capabilities Program Management – plan, organize, and manage resources to achieve program goals. Financial Processes – monitor costs, expenses, and revenue; manage costs relative to budgeted amounts. Process Improvement – identify, analyze, and improve existing business processes. Peer Leadership – demonstrate leadership and influence peers to accomplish team goals. Networking – build relationships through industry contacts and professional organizations. Quality Management – develop systematic processes to ensure services meet specific requirements. Core Accountabilities Execute responsibilities with an understanding of their impact on other areas, with occasional guidance. Analyze moderately complex problems using technical experience and judgment. Provide informal guidance and support to team members. Invest time and energy in developing self and others. Maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Communicate effectively and adapt style to different audiences. Serve others with compassion and customize services to stakeholder needs. Apply continuous improvement to identify and remove underlying causes of problems. Ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Demonstrate accountability and stewardship of organizational resources. Make data‑driven decisions and apply technology for short‑term challenges. Adapt to change and generate new ideas for process improvement. Position Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree.
